Your Skin Has Changed. Your Patience for Bad Advice Hasn't.

Start here: What this place is and who it's for

If you just found this corner of the internet, let me save you some time: this is not a space about turning back the clock, pretending midlife is a highlight reel, or hustling your way to some airbrushed version of wellness.

This is a space for the rest of us.

I'm Heather — a skincare nerd, a recovering overachiever, and a stepmom to a small fleet of twenty-somethings. I spent decades doing everything for everyone until I hit a wall — sometimes literally, in my imagination, repeatedly. I've been navigating perimenopause, burnout, and the quiet revolution of finally learning to put myself on the list.

I'm also currently working toward a certification in skincare from the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, because understanding what actually goes into a formula — and why it works — is the kind of deep dive that genuinely lights me up. I take skincare seriously. I take your skin seriously. And I never recommend anything I haven't researched, tested, or used myself.

What you'll find here:

Skincare education rooted in science, not trends. Product recommendations specifically for midlife skin — the kind that's been changed by perimenopause, stress, and years of putting everyone else first. And the occasional reminder that rest is not laziness, boundaries are not selfish, and a really good serum can feel like a small act of self-love.

My Midlife Wake-Up Call — what happens when an overachiever finally breaks, and what rebuilding actually looks like.

Midlife, But Make It Moisturized — the philosophy behind everything here, and why moisture belongs on your face and in your life.

Want to go deeper?

I publish a free newsletter on Substack with skincare education, midlife-specific recommendations, and honest takes on what's worth your money. Subscribers get the full picture — the routine context, the cost-per-use breakdowns, and the verdicts I'd only share at a table after everyone else had left.

If this sounds like your kind of corner of the internet, subscribe below. I'll be in your inbox every month, and I promise to make it worth your time.

ENJOYED THIS? THERE’S MORE.

Every month I go deeper — more science, more honest product takes, and the recommendations I'd only share with someone sitting across from me. Free to subscribe.
